The happiest day of my life was the day I met my beautiful baby girl, her long legs and dimple chin had my heart burst.
As my darling girl grew, it was clear she was suffering from several painful conditions, Coxa Vara (a hip bone deformity), Developmental Hip Dysplasia, hyper-mobility, a curve of the spine, terrible colic, Coeliac Disease and several other conditions which we had never heard of. All these caused her a great deal of pain, which lead her to develop Pain Induced Insomnia. My poor little darling!
After 31 appointments with GPs, Chiropractors, Physiotherapists, Sleep specialists, Orthopaedic surgeons, Neurologists and an array of others only left me feeling helpless and alone. We were told to come back when she turned 4 to have bilateral hip surgery and until then give her pain relief medication for the next 3 years… and that is when we found Bowen Therapy.
Long story short; 16 months of Bowen Therapy and my daughter was a perfectly healthy little girl. No surgery required!
And so began my love and passion for Bowen Therapy.
